I wrote this poem after being inspired by Karan Barad's performing / reading of her hyphens and dashes in this lecture. I wrote it to hint at possibilities in layering meaning

in language with marks.


It is interesting to think that when reflecting on a subject matter in the moment, with the vehicle carrying it such as language, the double layered-ness created through these marks push the language to bend in form and embody the argument in a more comprehensive way.
